About The Position

Bowhead is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Detachment Norfolk (NSWCCDDN) located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. The Logistics Specialist provides complex program or financial management support/analyses.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS)) from an accredited college or university OR advanced technical training and a minimum of six years of experience in addition to target experience stated below may be substituted for the BA or BS degree.
• Requires a minimum of eight years of experience in the collection, maintenance and verification of data from diverse sources and in the structuring of fairly complex data analysis plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics support for Department 80, Code 83 Combatant Craft Division with basic material management of OM&S and Asset Management.
• Support creation/routing of Material Management OM&S/Asset Management procedures, Metrics (Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, and Yearly), business rules process guides, and desk guides (Quarterly).
• Perform periodic reviews and updates of current desk guides and process guides (Quarterly).
• Coordinate and administer property acquisitions, assignments, and disposition for the Department 80, Code 83 CCD in support of the Government Plant and Property Manager.
• Process material and equipment requests including physical processing and issuing of OM&S and Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) transactions, storage, packaging, cataloging, and labeling.
• Perform physical inventory functions for Department 80, Code 83 Combatant Craft Division.
