Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. We spray the finish on your vehicle, coatings on your pills, the paint on your house and texture on your walls. Graco is part of your daily life. Job Purpose Performs daily tasks and provides A+ logistical support for all Graco locations, customers, suppliers, distributors, internal employees, and service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily tasks in one or more of the functional areas within the Graco logistics department - Returned Goods, International & Domestic Transportation, Freight Pay & Audit, and Claims.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all tasks in multiple functional areas such as but not limited to: Processing Int’l & domestic shipments, track shipments, providing freight quotes, issuing RGA’s, Filing claims, issue credit memos, process freight payment files.
  • Resolves daily logistical issues timely and communicate effectively to all affected parties.
  • Schedule and actively participate in monthly & quarterly meetings with various departments and service providers, to drive continuous improvement processes and cost savings initiatives.
  • Create, publish and monitor KPI’s for service providers.
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of the logistical services and pricing available in all modes.
  • Assists in the annual RFQ process with service providers.
  • Create and distribute detailed departmental & logistics reporting.
  • Hazmat Certified - IMDG, IATA, DOT.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in Domestic and International Logistics.
  • Highly Customer Service orientated for both internal and external parties.
  • Oracle and TMS knowledge.
