About The Position
The Logistics Specialist II supports the day-to-day operations of the Transportation and Receiving departments at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. These teams are responsible for managing inbound freight and executing donation pickups and deliveries to community partners serving neighbors facing food insecurity. In this role, you'll handle a mix of logistics coordination, administrative support, and customer service. You'll help ensure smooth communication between drivers, contractors, and internal teams; assist with routing, scheduling, and paperwork; and maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance. You may also help with loading trucks or covering routing responsibilities when needed. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Logistics and may require occasional support during evenings and weekends.
