About The Position

Onsite at Ball Memorial Hospital. Full-time from 6:30a-3p with an every other
weekend and holiday rotation.

Facilitates the accurate delivery of clean linen to designated departments and
assigned areas in a fast paced, physically demanding environment. Collects
soiled linen and transports it to the appropriate holding area. Works
effectively as part of a team to unload linen delivery trucks, which requires
frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing. Assists with organizing and
cleaning the linen area and prepares carts to ensure a smooth operation for the
following day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling
• Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred
• Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire
