About The Position

The Logistics Specialist I at Cable One Inc. plays a crucial role in managing the inventory of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) such as data modems and video converters. This position involves receiving, tracking, cleaning, testing, and redistributing returned equipment, ensuring efficient operations within the logistics team. The specialist will collaborate with local systems and corporate departments to procure and distribute inventory, maintain documentation, and monitor stock levels to support the company's service to over 900,000 customers across 21 states.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred.

• Experience with inventory management software.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Procure and distribute CPE inventory products in collaboration with Local Systems and Corporate Departments.
• Utilize inventory software to order, receive, and release warehouse products.
• Complete and maintain shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
• Monitor stock levels of CPE, plant material, headend equipment, and drop material to ensure timely re-ordering.
• Manually load and unload truck deliveries and daily pick-ups.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck as needed.
• Process paperwork including billing of materials, purchase orders, sales orders, equipment transfers, and CPE monthly counts.
• Perform accurate monthly and quarterly inventory checks.
• Gather, clean, test, and redistribute returned Customer Premise Equipment to appropriate locations or repair vendors.
• Collect and dispose of obsolete units following company procedures.
