About The Position

Logistics Specialist/ Coordinator to provide support in The Woodlands, TX. Note: This is an approximate three-month assignment. The Import/Export Coordinator in the chemical industry supports the management of import and export processes to ensure smooth and compliant international trade operations, including tolling activities. This role assists with documentation preparation, communicates with suppliers, freight forwarders, and tolling partners, and helps maintain regulatory compliance. The coordinator will also aid in issue resolution, including tolling-related challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the efficiency of logistics, tolling transactions, and overall supply chain activities.

Requirements

• Import/Export Experience a must.
• SAP experience required.
• Critical thinking/Problem solving skills.
• Advanced level MSO a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist in addressing import/export challenges, such as shipping delays, customs hold, and compliance concerns, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the development of corrective actions to help prevent recurring issues in trade operations.
• Help escalate import/export issues to the appropriate stakeholders and contribute to timely and effective solutions.
• Identifying and addressing tolling-related discrepancies in inventory, shipments, or documentation
• Coordinating with tolling partners to resolve delays, material shortages, or quality concerns.
• Escalating complex tolling issues to senior team members while supporting troubleshooting efforts.
