About The Position
Samsung SDS plays a leading role in the global logistics market with unique logistics services. The Logistics Sourcing Specialist is responsible for efficient freight forwarder/carrier sourcing processes to maximize profitability and capacity in order to participate in the potential customer's logistics bids. The position negotiates directly with suppliers to obtain services and capacity at the best prices by using logistics solutions, sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of the transportation industry. Logistics Sourcing Specialists are also responsible for carrier relations, retention and capacity management for all aspects of transportation.
