About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Liam Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and sales, particularly in the NVOCC and 3PL sectors. This role involves building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their logistics operations. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics sales, preferably within the NVOCC or 3PL environments.
• Familiarity with carrier sales processes and pricing strategies.
• Strong understanding of inside sales techniques and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in using software tools relevant to sales management, including AS400.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in logistics (Preferred)
• Ability to relocate to Westland, MI 48185 before starting work (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the logistics sector.
• Conduct inside sales activities to promote our services, including carrier sales and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and present sales proposals that outline pricing, service options, and contract terms.
• Meet or exceed sales targets through effective management of the sales pipeline.
