About The Position

The Logistics Routes Analyst will manage all in/outbound flows solution by air, ocean and road in compliance with local regulations and company policies. Responsible for the achievement of logistic key performance indicators (KPI's) for the platform. Activities related to our 2 platforms in the US (located in New Hampshire and Indiana) working in close collaboration with our 3PL manager of our platforms based in Plainfield, IN. Mainly but not exclusively outbound and inbound, domestic, cross border to Canada and Mexico and international flows by air and ocean.

Requirements

  • Strong professional, personal and business ethics.
  • Bachelor's degree, majoring in international logistics preferred.
  • 4/5+ years working experience for forwarder or logistics management, knowledge of integrated supply chain management preferred.
  • Experience with ocean and air preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-starter & able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Highly responsive to time sensitive matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Haz mat experience and foreign languages (Spanish and French) are a plus.
  • SAP knowledge and experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring transport costs: Responsible for monitoring and validating transport costs for the Americas.
  • Reporting activities: Responsible for producing logistics KPIs for the platform and consolidating logistics KPIs for the region.
  • Rules, regulations, and procedures: Implement policies and procedures in line with company practices. Ensure that all local regulations and rules are properly implemented and followed.
  • Continuous improvement: Develop the use of continuous improvement techniques. Promote customer-focused improvements and internal operations. Ensure global consistency through best practice and communication.
  • Follow up the transportation and brokerage spend using MI‘s tools.
  • Manage carriers' invoices (control and validation).
  • Manage carriers service level KPI's.
  • Handle logistic claims and drive corrective actions.
  • Drive customer centered improvements for freight performance.
  • Drive internal operational centered improvements for freight performance.
  • Lead carrier's continuous improvement plan on both service and cost.
  • Write and distribute procedures in activity scope.
