Under the direction of Logistics Management, the Logistics Representative is responsible for supporting daily operations related to customer service with a primary focus on Government vehicle management. This position serves an array of customer driven on demand services within a secure government facility.

Requirements

  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
  • Reach with hands and arms, extending arms forward and above the head
  • Climb ladders and stairs, and perform work at heights
  • Lift and carry 35 pounds of material
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer service
  • Two (2) years of experience in Logistics
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)
  • Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation programs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills for internal and external customers
  • Strong organization skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inventory, and warehouse practices

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties and responsibilities as the designated site Vehicle Control Officer
  • Schedule and coordinate required maintenance for Government vehicles
  • Primary Logistics interface for site customers to check in and out Government vehicles
  • Work independently, or as part of a team, to provide world class material handling support
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  • Adhere to all site safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance of OSHA regulations
  • Perform customer service activities to include but not limited to, answering telephones, communicating with site customers, carrier representatives and drivers
  • Sort and distribute any material requiring dissemination to personnel
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, dollies/carts, and other critical equipment
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas
  • Maintain material management and receiving logs
  • Input information into software programs (such as SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain files
  • Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement
  • Support other elements of the Fluor Logistics Team as directed
