The company’s share is quoted on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. www.marimekko.com We are looking for an organized, ambitious, and hands‑on logistics professional to support day‑to‑day operational logistics across the US. The role covers end‑to-end logistics activities, including inbound shipment tracking, outsourced warehouse operations, and last‑mile delivery to customers and consumers. A key part of the position is establishing, maintaining, and improving processes, communication, and workflows between Marimekko and our 3PL warehouse partner. In addition to operational responsibilities, the role may include project management activities, such as supporting or leading logistics improvement initiatives, warehouse transitions, and system or process development projects, depending on business needs. Experience in fashion or apparel logistics is a strong advantage, as the role involves managing seasonal demand, a broad product assortment, and tight delivery timelines. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse team, HQ Logistics, HQ ICT, and the US Sales team to ensure smooth product availability and operational continuity, particularly during a transition and scaling phase of our US operations. This is a fulltime position starting on April 1st 2026 based at Marimekko’s office in Soho, New York. In this role, you will report to the Head of Market Area, North America, with a dottedline reporting relationship to the Logistics Manager based at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in project management
  • A practical, hands‑on working style with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Familiarity with operational systems (WMS/ERP); experience working with ICT teams is a plus
  • Experience working with international stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is an advantage
  • Experience supporting warehouse start‑ups, relocations, or ramp‑ups

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support day‑to‑day logistics operations, including inbound shipment tracking, outbound coordination, inventory management, and related documentation
  • Manage and coordinate outsourced warehouse operations, supporting setup activities, process alignment, and ongoing operational improvements with the 3PL partner
  • Support and/or lead logistics‑related projects, such as warehouse transitions, process optimization initiatives, and system or workflow improvements
  • Assist in ramp-up and scaling activities, including volume monitoring, capacity alignment, and operational readiness
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across logistics systems, reports, and documentation
  • Act as a key coordination and communication link between warehouse operations, HQ Logistics, HQ ICT, and the US Sales team to ensure smooth execution and product availability
  • Help identify and resolve operational issues impacting order flow or delivery timelines
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process and execution improvements
