The Logistics Principal – DMSMS Hardware and Software lead position is responsible for managing logistic engineering and life cycle support services. Additional responsibilities include managing customer services and logistic product support team and providing ILS, interim support requirements development and execution, and lifecycle cost analysis support services. This is an ONSITE position located at Naval Station Norfolk, VA. Duties include managing all End of Life parts, IT items, and tracking software within the programs to assure timely integration of software updates, renewals, etc. Working with engineers and other subject matter experts to deliver the best possible solution to out-of-date equipment/software.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with PMW-160 systems, including intermediate knowledge of the ADNS and CANES programs.
  • Experience with QStart, REMEDY, and CMPRO

Responsibilities

  • Managing logistic engineering and life cycle support services
  • Managing customer services and logistic product support team
  • Providing ILS, interim support requirements development and execution, and lifecycle cost analysis support services
  • Managing all End of Life parts, IT items, and tracking software within the programs to assure timely integration of software updates, renewals, etc.
  • Tracking hardware and software for PMW-160 Systems using QStar.
  • Conduct Spares Planning
  • Preparation of monthly software obsolescence report for Logistics, Engineering, and the Program Office
