About The Position

The Logistics Operator at ONEOK is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing product receipts from various sources, ensuring efficient operations within the marine facilities. This role requires real-time decision-making to mitigate potential conflicts and optimize product movement based on customer demand and storage capabilities. The operator will work 12-hour shifts and must handle complex paperwork while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus general industry or operations experience.
• 3-5 years of related work experience, preferably in marine scheduling, pipeline scheduling, or terminal operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work under time pressure and in stressful conditions.
• Proficiency in using Windows operating system and Excel spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

• Marine scheduling and/or inventory experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product movement schedules and oversee incoming and outgoing product movements via various transport methods.
• Maintain an accurate schedule of traffic and customer demand, adjusting as necessary.
• Coordinate product movements with the Terminal Operator Lead to balance customer requests with terminal capabilities.
• Monitor product inventory levels and control system flow using company computer systems.
• Make real-time decisions about tank space for incoming product receipts.
• Interface with shift operations and maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient product movement.
• Ensure proper completion and handling of complex paperwork related to product movements.
• Gather environmental data and enter it into the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
• Perform mainline operations of pumping units and operate refined and crude product pumps as time allows.
