About The Position

The Logistics Operations Planning Analyst is part of a team responsible for planning over 414,000 delivery routes annually, covering 32 million miles and servicing 3 million stops. This role supports daily operations impacting 5,000+ employees and 10,000 customers across multiple delivery modes. The analyst ensures warehouse Service Level Agreements are met while optimizing vehicle usage based on volume, resource availability, and customer receiving hours. Tools used include SAP, LEO, Excel, and various online platforms. The Route Planning Analyst also manages delivery scheduling for Wholesale Clubs and ARTM customers using dedicated customer portals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Up to 12 months experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning process for 1.5 million cases each day, which amounts to over 365 million cases annually.
  • Plan 10,500 daily delivery stops, leading to more than 3 million per year.
  • Plan 112,000 miles every day, totaling over 32 million miles per year, impacting the company's expenses.
  • Support 68 warehouses and directly affect over 5,000 employees.
  • Determine the daily utilization of class A & B vehicle assets, typically ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 delivery routes.
  • Assess special delivery requests and ensure appropriate dock times for club stores.
  • Collaborate with sales offices to confirm sufficient resources are available daily.
  • Establish and maintain effective planning data, communication, and relationships across multiple distribution centers and warehouses.
  • Provide daily recaps of the planning process and schedule meetings with warehouse and delivery team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and vehicle assignments for all distribution centers.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and one-on-one sessions to review updates about the company and department.
