The Logistics Manager at V2X will play a critical role in managing logistics services requirements for the government. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in logistics management, particularly in vehicle fleet management, property management, and supply chain operations. The Logistics Manager will be the primary point of contact for all logistics services, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role requires a deep understanding of logistics processes, including inventory control, freight and warehouse operations, and classified waste destruction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. In addition to managing logistics services, the Logistics Manager will also be tasked with implementing and utilizing various software systems, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Total Asset Management (TAM), and PSAM (Property and Asset Management) software. This will involve training staff on these systems and ensuring that they are used effectively to enhance operational efficiency. The Logistics Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining logistics policies and procedures, as well as conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
