About The Position

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of accounts within Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division. This role includes managing P&L responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with safety regulations, and employee relations. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with senior management and customers to meet their needs and expectations.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations required.
• Two or more years of experience managing and leading direct reports required.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations required.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and French (for Quebec locations only).
• Experience in transportation and driver management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolving performance issues and ensuring compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations for account operations.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to assess account profitability and provide financial data to senior management.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor quotes for materials, and customer invoicing.
• Conduct Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
