About The Position

Drylock Technologies is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead daily logistics operations—inbound, warehouse, and outbound—for our Reidsville plant. This role owns performance across service, inventory, and safety, and builds a high‑performing team that keeps product moving reliably through a high‑speed, high‑volume manufacturing environment. Demonstrating Drylock’s core values of Safety, Respect, and Ownership is expected in all aspects of the job.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in an industrial warehouse/shipping/receiving environment, ideally within high‑volume manufacturing.
  • Effective communicator—clear, timely, and collaborative across Operations, Production, QA, Customer Service, Purchasing, and carriers.
  • Hands‑on experience with warehouse audits, safety practices, and 5S standards; track record reducing incidents and improving housekeeping.
  • Strong inventory control skills: cycle counts, reconciliation, variance analysis, and transaction discipline.
  • Ability to build work plans, balance resources, and meet tight shipping/receiving schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading logistics teams with multiple roles (Group Leaders, Lead Coordinators) and acting as the escalation point for schedule changes.
  • Exposure to repack/scrap processes and cross‑functional coordination with QA and Production.
  • Experience with SAP

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound receipts of raw materials: unloading, system receiving, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Manage warehouse storage, material movements, and line‑side replenishment to production; ensure real‑time transaction accuracy in the inventory system.
  • Lead outbound shipping: pick/pack, staging, trailer loading, documentation, and carrier dispatch to meet shipment commitments.
  • Communicate shipment risks early and coordinate with Customer Service (outbound) and Purchasing (inbound) to avoid misses.
  • Own cycle‑count programs for raw materials and finished goods; investigate variances and drive corrective actions to protect inventory integrity.
  • Enforce safety standards and housekeeping; run regular warehouse audits for Safety, 5S, and quality issues.
  • Standardize procedures across shifts; coach leads and coordinators on process discipline and problem‑solving.
  • Partner with QA and Production on scrap, recycle, and repack processes to maintain quality and flow.
  • Lead, develop, and coach logistics personnel; set clear priorities, communicate expectations, and recognize performance.
  • Ensure the team is correctly staffed and trained for each area (receiving, storage, shipping); act quickly on performance or skill gaps.
