Description Key Responsibilities 1. Supply Chain Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain organization covering planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. Establish long-term supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals and customer needs. Build a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and operational discipline. 2. Demand & Inventory Planning Own the demand planning process and forecast governance to support an accurate S&OP cycle. Develop inventory strategies that balance working capital, lead times, and customer requirements. Set inventory KPIs (e.g., DOS, turns, obsolescence, E&O) and ensure strong execution. Implement SKU segmentation, ABC/XYZ analysis, and stocking policies for optimized portfolio coverage. 3. Supply Planning & Production Coordination Ensure capacity planning aligns with demand signals and production capabilities. Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure material availability and adherence to build schedules. Identify and mitigate supply risks through scenario planning and proactive adjustments. 4. Logistics & Distribution Management Oversee transportation, warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, and distribution network performance. Optimize freight costs, service levels, and carrier performance through strategic sourcing and negotiation. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards. 5. S&OP Ownership Lead monthly S&OP reviews, ensuring cross-functional alignment across Demand, Supply, and Finance. Present supply chain risks, opportunities, and plans to senior leadership. Drive accountability across teams for forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory commitments. 6. Performance Management Define and manage key supply chain KPIs, including: Forecast Accuracy OTIF / Fill Rate Inventory Turns & DOH Freight Cost per Unit Warehouse Efficiency Supplier Delivery & Lead-Time Performance Utilize analytics, dashboards, and reports to monitor and improve performance. 7. Strategic Initiatives & Transformation Lead digital transformation projects (ERP optimization, planning systems, WMS, TMS). Develop multi-year logistics and distribution network strategies. Execute cost-reduction initiatives without compromising service levels. Drive sustainability and carbon-reduction programs within the supply chain. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field. 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including planning, logistics, and inventory management. Proven success in managing multi-site or global supply chains. Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, planning systems, and ERP environments (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics). Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Master’s degree (MBA, Operations, Supply Chain). APICS/CSCP/CPIM certification. Automotive aftermarket or manufacturing industry experience. Experience implementing S&OP, advanced planning tools (IBP), or network optimization initiatives.
