About The Position

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of accounts within Ryder's Final Mile operations. This role includes managing P&L responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with safety regulations, and employee relations. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with senior management and customers to meet their needs and expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations required.
• Two or more years of experience managing and leading direct reports required.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and French (for Quebec locations only).
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience in Logistics and Final Mile operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolving performance issues and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability and provide financial data to senior management.
• Be responsible for payroll, accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Conduct Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
