About The Position
The position involves managing logistical operations, ensuring that supply deficiencies are corrected based on identified problem areas. The role requires analyzing equipment and other needs to support logistical operations, reviewing reports to ensure that the needs of the logistical operations are being met, and overseeing the budget for logistical requirements. Additionally, the position entails providing technical guidance to command and staff officers, planning activities related to supply distribution and the use of unit equipment, redirecting excess equipment based on priorities and training needs, and recommending the priority of requests based on unit requirements.
