As a Logistics Management Analyst embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team in Lexington, KY, you will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics requirements and translating them into actionable plans within the Enterprise. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Task Order Manager and supported customers to ensure their logistics needs are met effectively. This involves a variety of tasks such as warehousing support, transportation and movements support, in-house repair, and disposal services. You will be responsible for managing customer requirements related to receiving, storing, issuing, pulling, packing, shipping, and disposing of materials. Additionally, you will handle catalog support and field return support, ensuring that all requisitions and trouble tickets are processed efficiently. Your role will require you to develop a comprehensive understanding of business principles, concepts, practices, and standards as they relate to logistics management. You will work with various Department of Defense (DOD) systems and will be expected to navigate three Inventory Management Systems: GOLDesp, DPAS, and SAP. A solid understanding of the DOD cataloging process and logistics terminology is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret technical orders and illustrated parts manuals. In this position, you will also coordinate Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program, which includes scheduling shipments or pickups and completing necessary documentation for both CONUS and OCONUS shipments. Monitoring and status reporting of material movement will be part of your duties, along with managing incoming materials and addressing any discrepancies that may arise. You will also be responsible for managing equipment coming from the field through the Repair and Return process and coordinating the manufacture and application of UID labels to specified equipment and kits. Your ability to work effectively with the PMO and internal functional areas will be critical in resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
