About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Logistics Maintenance Technician Associate to join our 2nd shift team. This hands-on role supports key logistics operations, with primary duties including building custom boxes and crates, operating a tugger/train, and performing routine facility upkeep. Additional responsibilities include driving a forklift, moving materials throughout the facility, collecting and compacting trash, and assisting with general low-skill maintenance tasks to support overall production flow and cleanliness. This is a team-based position that requires a strong work ethic, mechanical awareness, and a focus on safety and efficiency. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or an associate's degree in a related field preferred)
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance, logistics operations, or a similar environment preferred but not required
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with facility systems such as HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to use tools and equipment safely, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A solid understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow all safety guidelines in a facility setting
  • Ability to use maintenance management software (e.g., SAP, CMMS) to log maintenance requests, track inventory, and schedule work orders
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery relevant to the facility maintenance tasks
  • Basic understanding of computer systems for entering data, tracking inventory, and generating reports
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with various departments
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to notice potential maintenance issues before they impact operations
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and updates to team members and supervisors
  • Ability to handle physically demanding work, including the lifting and moving heavy objects
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to different locations as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or technical training in maintenance or facilities management (e.g., HVAC certification, electrical certification)
  • Previous experience working in a logistics or warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of computer systems or software used for facility maintenance and reporting (e.g., CMMS or asset management software)
  • Familiarity with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and the ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations
