About The Position

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? Utz Quality Foods, a trusted leader in the snack industry, is expanding and seeking a motivated Logistics Loader to join our team on Weekend Nights at our Hanover, PA facility.   In this essential role, you'll work Friday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, taking an active part in keeping our warehouse operations moving efficiently. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, staging materials, and ensuring products are handled safely and accurately to meet shipping and production schedules.   This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, team-oriented work and takes pride in supporting the flow of operations that help our snacks reach shelves nationwide. Requirements

  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
  • Recent forklift operating experience and ability to be certified day one of employment is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate handling and shipping of products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with a high reach forklift is preferred but not required.
  • Load and unload products from trucks and containers using manual labor, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
  • Organize products in the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and easy access for order fulfillment.
  • Verify product quantities and ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Inspect products for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Prepare products for shipping, ensuring items are securely loaded onto delivery trucks according to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers.
  • Assist in inventory management by performing cycle counts and other stock-related duties.
