About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin This exciting position is with our historic Skunk Works program. Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Applicant will perform database management duties to include using relational databases such as ALMS. The normal activities of this center will include but are not limited to: provisioning, database management, item management, order processing and closure, and ensuring timely delivery of spares, kits and field spares returned for repair or modification. Will work with all sustainment functions, program engineers, field engineers, logistics and procurement personnel and subcontractors with the objective of developing innovative pathways to ensure systems are operational and effective. Must be willing to work all shifts. Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required. This position will require a Top Secret security clearance. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with the assigned ADP program and customer procedures. The successful candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. Successful candidate must be willing to travel to remote site locations for extended periods of time. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • Ten (10) years' experience in aviation logistics discipline.
  • Leadership experience in the aerospace, aviation or military industry.
  • Working knowledge of programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD Control, Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Must be willing to work all shifts.
  • Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • No Dual Citizenship will be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Experience conducting logistics briefings and logistics disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience managing aerospace ground equipment.
  • Working knowledge in LM Aero program, logistics, supply, technical data, and training process and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of ALMS or equivalent MIS.
  • SAP Experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of procedures pertaining to aircraft maintenance, logistics and modification processes is desired.
  • Database management
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Tool and Calibration System Management.
