Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year experience operating a Raymond stand-up forklift
• 2 years of working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

• TPM knowledge and experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
• Basic computer knowledge
• Professional experience coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Establishes standard work and assists in training
• Coordinates equipment and labor to minimize downtime
• May back fill forklift operators or other positions as needed
• Participates in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems
• Identifies safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives and recommends corrective actions
• Communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor
• Works closely with the Quality team
• Continuously identifies opportunities for system and process waste elimination
• Ensures constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges
• Participates in selecting and developing new hires
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and maintained
• Successfully completes classroom and on the job training
• Other duties as assigned
