About The Position

Works collaboratively with supervisor as a resource to unit personnel. Participates in and/or assists Supervisor with staffing, timecards, hiring and training. Maintains an expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff, and supervisor. Assists supervisor in the coaching and development of staff, optimization of area productivity and service problem resolution, and development of internal processes. May represent area on task forces/committees etc. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers. Assists in daily oversight of staff activity, and performs day-to-day logistics functions. Responsible for managing expiration checks in accordance with established deadlines and coordinating all inbound and outbound freight deliveries within the site. Serves as a key point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective communication. During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question. Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience as a materials handler, inventory/ receiving clerk or other related field required
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills
  • Possesses PC skills, both keyboarding and applications
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory MVD record

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related discipline preferred
