Works collaboratively with supervisor as a resource to unit personnel. Participates in and/or assists Supervisor with staffing, timecards, hiring and training. Maintains an expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff, and supervisor. Assists supervisor in the coaching and development of staff, optimization of area productivity and service problem resolution, and development of internal processes. May represent area on task forces/committees etc. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers. Assists in daily oversight of staff activity, and performs day-to-day logistics functions. Responsible for managing expiration checks in accordance with established deadlines and coordinating all inbound and outbound freight deliveries within the site. Serves as a key point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective communication.
