About The Position

Are you ready to take the next step in your career with Utz Quality Foods? We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Case Pick Logistics Lead to join our team at the RDC located at 103 Kindig Lane on the Week Day Shift. The required work shift is Monday - Thursday 5:30AM-5:30PM. In this role, you'll provide key support to the Week Day Shift Logistics Supervisor, ensuring smooth operations throughout the shift. You'll also have the opportunity to step in as the acting supervisor when needed. Requirements

  • Extensive forklift experience, including High Reach or the willingness to learn
  • Experience with loading and shipping operations, and the ability to plan and execute daily shipping schedules.
  • Strong supervisory skills to lead and coordinate teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to learn warehouse systems.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a forklift license.
  • Ability to work proactively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily warehouse operations by retrieving, organizing, and distributing outbound shipment mail bags for distribution centers.
  • Oversee case-picking operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assign picking tasks, monitor progress against daily targets, and coordinate with replenishment and outbound teams to maintain workflow.
  • Validate picked and finished orders for completeness, correctness, and accurate system entry.
  • Ensure trailer and door assignments are correct to support timely deliveries.
  • Monitor trailer shortages, cube utilization, and work to resolve any operational issues.
  • Assist loaders, pickers, and conveyor operators to optimize shift efficiency.
  • Unload/load conveyor systems, organize products into storage, and scan items into inventory.
  • Support inventory control through cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories.
  • Investigate, document, and report incidents during the shift.
  • Provide training and guidance on warehouse operations, including picking systems, RF scanners, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Be flexible to cover other shifts as needed in the absence of supervision.
  • Spend the majority of time on the warehouse floor, supervising and supporting assigned staff.
  • Ensure quality and food safety standards are met at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams across the facility to support overall operational goals.
