The schedule for this position is SECOND SHIFT hours based on operational needs SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Logistics Lead leads and assists multiple teams and shifts in the support of internal and external customer requirements. The area of responsibility may include one or a combination of the following areas: Stores, Shipping/Receiving, Tooling, and Operation Support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of inventory handling and control or warehouse operation experience required, including operation of trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Forklift certification required (must obtain certification within 60 days of hire).
  • 49CFR and IATA dangerous goods training (compliance to ATS requirements within 30 days of hire).
  • Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, leads and reassigns support team in response to workload requirements.
  • Ensures assigned team members are consistently practicing appropriate safety procedures.
  • Coordinates and participates in the daily assignment of tasks in the work area.
  • Supports, communicates and implements company initiatives (e.g. Lean Operations).
  • Provides guidance to staff when resolving technical, procedural, and customer service issues.
  • Provides premier customer service support to assigned internal and external customers.
  • Develops and implements corrective action for findings issued during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborates and works cross functionally to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensures qualified staff is performing assigned jobs in compliance with RSM.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Provides feedback to management on issues and concerns with employee performance.
  • Ensures all required partner training is complete and validated.
  • Provides backup in absence of a supervisor.
