About The Position

The Logistics Lead will oversee the execution of logistics tasks for a program, ensuring effective coordination and communication across various teams. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities, including procurement, warehousing, and supply chain risk management. The Logistics Lead will also provide direction and support to logistics liaison officers and manage local logistics teams to meet program objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 4+ years of professional experience; or 2+ years of professional experience with a related master's degree.
  • Previous NAS/FAA site activation experience required.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Extensive knowledge of hardware, equipment, and depot activities.
  • Experience/knowledge as a CAM and in Earned Value (EV) methodology.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal and corporate excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity.
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership role requiring significant coordination across multiple functional areas.
  • Prior experience with cost accounting, earned value management, and ownership planning.
  • Cost estimating experience.
  • Experience in team building and customer focus.
  • Experience with execution under Waterfall and/or Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with National Air Space and FAA NextGen Air Traffic control programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, support, and training for logistics liaison officers (LNO), procurement, warehousing, shipping and receiving, property management, maintenance planning and reporting, regulatory compliance, and OCONUS logisticians.
  • Direct LNOs in logistics coordination, supply planning, and distribution for supported programs.
  • Plan bill of material for new project builds or site setups and initiate procurement of materials according to scheduled milestones.
  • Coordinate distribution of materials with site operations personnel, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure availability of critical spares and tools.
  • Manage local logistics team leads responsible for packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
  • Escalate and resolve problems between cross-functional teams with logistics responsibilities.
  • Manage supply chain risk management objectives, including counterfeit parts prevention and vendor management.
  • Oversee calibration, expiration, and warranty programs.
  • Deliver necessary Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) per schedule to the customer.
  • Manage End of Life products and recommend solutions for replacements.
  • Control costs and schedules as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Develop Logistics Level of Effort (LOE) labor estimates and Author Basis of Estimates (BOE) for Logistics LOE.
  • Collaborate with program management and pricing coordinators to build Other Direct Charges (ODCs).
