SAIC is seeking a Logistics Intern to support our Navy team in Charleston, SC. The intern will plan, schedule, and perform tasks involved with coordinating supplies and materials supporting the development, production, and sustainment of military aircraft electronic systems. This includes identifying material shortages, coordinating material requisition, and storing on-hand parts and material orders for material requirements. The intern will provide information to management on material status, assist in maintaining inventories of goods and services, process routine inventory requests by validating receipt of goods and materials against requirements, manage the property inventory process, help reconcile property discrepancies, and assist in the retrieval of information from various databases to accurately track and inventory items. Additionally, the intern will coordinate and resolve supply issues regarding support of products in development and sustainment.
