Requirements

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited program in supply chain, procurement, engineering, finance, economics, MIS, logistics, or another related business subject area graduating between December 2026 and summer 2028.
  • Geographically flexible and willing to relocate to Amarillo, TX for an internship opportunity.
  • Able to complete a 12-week internship in the summer (May/June - August 2026).
  • Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures.
  • High degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
  • Strong aptitude for business.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with business goals to strategically source goods and services.
  • Decrease manufacturing time and minimize inventory.
  • Streamline order fulfillment and build continuous improvement projects.
  • Perform systems data entry and reduce costs.
  • Gain exposure to logistics management and transportation coordination.
  • Involvement in equipment management, cost control, and planning.
  • Participate in commodity merchandising and customer service operations planning.
  • Handle freight bills, tariff/rate quotations, and rate management.
  • Engage in local plant logistics and sales contract development.
  • Conduct data analytics and accounting tasks.
