About The Position

The Logistics Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting our Operations Team during Sumer 2025. Reporting to the Industrial Engineer, the intern will work on a variety of hands-on projects designed to improve process efficiency, facility layout, safety and operational performance. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to engineering, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives in a real-world logistics environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with process mapping, time studies, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Arena or other simulation software is a plus
• Self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in warehouse and office environments

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Assist with project logistics site setup
• Warehouse Optimization: Conduct time studies and spaghetti diagrams to analyze and improve movement flows
• Workplace Design: Implement 5S principles and optimize workstation setups
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Help draft and standardize SOP documentation
• Capacity Planning: Build tools to analyze current utilization and forecast future needs
• Safety & Ergonomics: Analyze tasks, environments, and incident data to drive safer operations
