Saab, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Engineer to join our team. This role develops and refines support and maintenance concepts, performs supportability analyses to optimize lifecycle performance, collaborates with engineering to define reliability and maintainability requirements, conducts hazardous materials analyses, evaluates field data to recommend improvements, and supports obsolescence management activities. The compensation range provided is a general guideline.   • Perform as a logistics engineer for assigned programs.
  • Use and help develop Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA).
  • Participate in customer meetings including Provisioning Guidance Conferences (PGC) and Provisioning Conferences (PC).
  • Assist in providing provisioning support for procurement and cataloging of items of supply needed to sustain systems.
  • Assist in aligning the Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to the required maintenance level.
  • Assist with analysis and coordination of obsolescence management activities in support of customer programs.
  • BA or BS degree in an engineering discipline or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of military or aerospace experience.
  • Ability to perform analyses and execute assigned program activities in at least one ILS element.
  • Ability to communicate results clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively use appropriate tools and computer skills.
  • Ability to present results and content to internal or external customers.
  • Ability to apply problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong team working skills to coordinate needs within an open, multi-tasking engineering development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist and influence ILS teams in support of program and project success.
  • Proven knowledge and experience working with electronic systems.
  • Self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across the organization and with customer teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
