As a Logistics Engineering Co-op, you'll gain invaluable experience in optimizing logistics processes for high-speed manufacturing, working directly with experienced engineers on impactful projects. Hands-on experience awaits you in: Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Dive deep into the Bosch Production System, applying lean principles to optimize material flow and drive operational excellence. Value Stream Mapping & Improvement: Collaborate on projects to analyze and enhance internal and external value streams, identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficiency-boosting solutions. Cutting-Edge Technology Integration: Contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives by supporting the implementation of RFID technology, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and other automation solutions. Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Management: Develop, maintain, and leverage PFEP documentation to ensure seamless material flow and precise inventory management. Standardized Work Development: Create and implement clear, efficient work procedures, including optimized milk run delivery processes. Real-World Problem Solving: Assist in analyzing and improving receiving and shipping operations, contributing to smoother and more efficient logistics processes.
