About The Position

You will be the Logistics Engineer - Level 2 for the F-35 Aircraft Supply Operations team which is responsible for delivering reliable logistics support to the F‑35 fleet. What You Will Be Doing As the Logistics Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for driving logistics engineering excellence across a high‑tempo PBL/CLS environment, providing technical direction, and ensuring data integrity for provisioning and supportability analyses. Your responsibilities will include: Lead the Quality Assurance team, delivering metrics, training, and guidance to lower‑level personnel. Perform provisioning analyses—including Parts Precedence (J0820) and QEC—using GEIA, MIL‑STD‑1388, DEF‑STAN 00‑60, and related software tools. Conduct supportability analyses for flight vehicles, associated equipment, and training devices, applying systems‑engineering and integration processes. Manage provisioning data per GEIA/MIL‑STD‑1388‑2B, DEF‑STAN 00‑60, and LSAR database standards, ensuring accurate documentation. Coordinate with Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics programs to maintain compliance with DoD 5000 series acquisition requirements. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in logistics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft and non-aircraft sustainment support
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Software including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Access and Excel will be used daily.

  • Maintenance Task Analysis.
  • Candidate should have an understanding of US and Foreign Military applications of Integrated Logistics Support. This includes knowledge of concepts, requirements, and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis; Maintenance Task Analysis; Level or Repair Analysis; Provisioning Analysis and techniques; Spares Modeling; Training Analysis; Support Equipment Analysis; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportability Analysis; Facilities Analysis; and Technical Publications Development and documentation. Specific understanding of the interrelationships and dependencies of these functional analysis activities is highly desired.
  • Understanding or experience in support requirements definition, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / internally developed Information Technology Tools and Software supporting Logistics Supportability Analysis activities is also desirable.
  • Advanced to expert MS Office Suite skills with a strong focus on MS Access and Excel capabilities is also desired.
  • The ideal candidate will understand engineering drawings and parts relationships.
  • Knowledge of F-35 and F-22 provisioning process is a plus.
