The Logistics Data Analyst is responsible for developing logistic strategies to optimize product repair and delivery to customers. This role enhances product workflow by analyzing logistics-related data and developing logistics plans associated with repair, production, distribution, and inventory. The position operates across multiple functions and interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. This is a full-time position in which the candidate can work remotely, with occasional travel up to 25% of the time required.

  • Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, and customer maintenance practices to determine spares provisioning, maintenance/repair requirements, pricing strategies, and overall optimum logistical support structure.
  • Develop logistics plans to optimize repair turnaround times (RTAT) and enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
  • Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures.
  • Assist in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies for desired delivery times.
  • Provide Integrated Logistics Support as required, helping develop or recommend a support concept and providing support products.
  • Participate in Process Improvement activities including process generation, checklists, and data analysis.
  • Prepare technical status reports and Integrated Logistics Support Plans.
  • Perform spares analysis and provide direct customer interface including technical presentations and formal reviews.
  • Develop and provide metrics to Program Management and other functional organizations as appropriate.
  • Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Logistics Certification Level 2 or higher.
  • 5+ years of related analytical logistics experience, preferably in the A&D Industry.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational and functional boundaries.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills; ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting information to Sr. Leadership teams.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and under pressure.
  • Security clearance, or ability to attain a clearance, highly preferred.
  • Experience with MS Project and MS Excel for project planning and monitoring.
