About The Position

As a brand ambassador for Kroger, you will provide excellent customer service while delivering customer orders directly to their homes. This role requires you to drive a company delivery vehicle, demonstrating safe and efficient driving behavior in accordance with Kroger's driving standards. Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must annually pass a DOT regulated medical exam
• Good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be at least 21 years old
• May require a chauffeur's license in some states

Nice To Haves

• Any delivery driver experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service while delivering orders to customers' homes.
• Drive a company delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to Kroger's driving standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in good condition, resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
• Maintain communication with customers while en route, informing them of any issues or changes to their delivery.
• Control and maintain accurate records of customer deliveries.
• Assist fellow drivers who may encounter difficulties while delivering orders.
• Ensure that goods are kept within the correct temperature guidelines and monitor temperatures to comply with food health and safety regulations.
• Handle products safely in accordance with food safety guidelines, reporting any serious breakages or contamination issues to a supervisor.
• Complete pre-inspection checks of the company vehicle before use and report any defects to a supervisor.
• Operate company-provided technology devices for mapping and customer interaction.
