About The Position

As a brand ambassador for Kroger, you will provide excellent customer service while delivering customer orders directly to their homes. Your role involves driving a company delivery vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient driving behavior in accordance with Kroger's driving standards. Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must annually pass a DOT regulated medical exam.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device.
• Good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any delivery driver experience.
• Any customer service experience.
• May require a chauffeur's license in some states.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador while delivering customer orders to their homes.
• Drive a company delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to Kroger's driving standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers.
• Ensure timely delivery of customer orders in good condition, resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain communication with customers during delivery to inform them of any issues or changes.
• Control and maintain accurate records of customer deliveries.
• Assist fellow drivers who may encounter difficulties during deliveries.
• Monitor and record temperatures of goods to comply with food health and safety regulations.
• Handle products safely according to food safety guidelines and report any serious breakages or contamination issues to a supervisor.
• Complete pre-inspection checks of the company vehicle before use and report any defects to a supervisor.
• Operate company-provided technology devices for mapping and customer interaction.
