About The Position
The Logistics Coordinator (LC) at Electric Supply Center will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various operational departments, sales teams, and customers. This position is designed for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The LC will serve as the primary liaison between the sales and operations teams, addressing delivery and operational issues as they arise. This involves not only troubleshooting problems but also providing clear and effective communication to all stakeholders involved, including executives and customers. In this role, the LC will be responsible for internal communications, ensuring that all teams are informed about job queues, operational announcements, and any changes that may affect delivery schedules. The LC will document problem areas and feedback for reporting purposes, striving to enhance both processes and customer service. Additionally, the LC will manage logistics by approving and communicating delivery requests, coordinating with the shipping manager, and providing backup support for order fulfillment. The position also requires the LC to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to senior leadership as needed. The LC will supervise the CDC ‘Hot’ selectors, offering guidance and support to the team. This supervisory aspect of the role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company’s objectives. The LC will also be responsible for dispatching drivers, problem-solving delivery issues, and coordinating emergency deliveries, making this a dynamic and multifaceted position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
