About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator will support supply chain and logistics operations across both St. Elmo Foods and Prime Age Spirits. This role will play a critical part in ensuring product availability, coordinating transportation, and maintaining strong relationships with key partners including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, brokers. What you will do: Identify, evaluate, and secure cost-effective, reliable transportation partners, ensuring best-in-class freight pricing while maintaining service and product integrity. Continuously optimize routing, carrier selection, and shipment consolidation to reduce cost and improve delivery efficiency. Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory levels, proactively adjusting to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and spoilage. Communicate proactively with sales and production to align on inventory, timing, and product availability. Develop and manage product forecasts in collaboration with co-packers and internal stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on maintaining optimal product freshness. Coordinate freight and transportation for all incoming and outgoing purchase orders, actively sourcing and comparing competitive freight rates across LTL shipments, 3PL providers, wholesalers, and distributors. Monitor, audit, and reconcile all freight and logistics-related charges billed to the company; proactively identify discrepancies and file claims when necessary. Process purchase orders and track them through fulfillment, delivery, and payment completion. Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics coordination with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and brokers. Monitor inventory flow and ensure timely delivery of products to end users.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination required

Nice To Haves

Degree or certificate in a relevant field preferred
Experience working with co-packers in the food & beverage industry preferred
