About The Position

Unette has an immediate opening for an Logistics Coordinator . This is a key leadership role, based in Randolph, NJ that will be responsible for administering shipping and receiving activities. An ideal candidate will be an experienced leader from the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries with knowledge of logistics coordination and processes. Target hourly rate is $21/hr-$23/hr, based on the level of the applicant. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, STD/LTD, & paid PTO

Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required.
1 or more years of experience in production, warehouse, or related supply chain function, required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for entering shipments using customer portals, UPS/Fedex or contacting trucking companies directly.
Prepare and verify the accuracy of documents and contents for outgoing shipments.
Shipments include finished goods, customer components, samples, and any/all other items that ship.
Record shipment data using internal and customer logs.
Pack, seal, and label materials for shipment.
Work with Sales and Quality Department to solve problems such as damages, discrepancies, and shortages of inbound and outbound shipments.
Assist in scheduling appointments for inbound and outbound shipments.
Follow applicable OSHA safety regulations etc.
Understand FDA regulations to the operations and consequences of nonconformance.
Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work environment.
Ensures timely completion of work.
Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper PPE and Safety procedures are followed.
