About The Position

JSP is seeking additional team members to support company growth related to the production of automotive, HVAC, packaging, sports and a variety of consumer goods markets. Our Butler, Pennsylvania location is in need of a Logistics Coordinator/Auditor to expedite the process of shipping the right product at the right time to the right customer with 100% on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • A drivers license and personal transportation is required – to guide trucks picking up orders to offsite storage, about ½ mile away, mileage paid
  • Forklift experience preferred - must be able to operate a forklift truck, which requires the use of arms and legs, the ability to get onto truck and depth perception to stack and/or move crates or other material.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing, including follow up
  • Must have organization skills and ability to prioritize daily work
  • PC skills; Windows, Microsoft Office, email
  • Customer relations and negotiation skills
  • Must have finger dexterity and be able to see and hear.
  • Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses.
  • Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be considered for employment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates completion of all required shipping paperwork; requesting from internal departments, preparing paperwork for customs, transmittal and invoice confirmations
  • Provides correct paperwork to drivers by matching to the shipping schedule
  • Unloads and inspects incoming product, handle according to procedure, maintain receipts
  • Receives product from internal departments and maintains inventory in warehouse using FIFO
  • Load & unload trucks using forklift, according to customer specific requirements (forklift required – will train)
  • Creating proper labels within Label Matrix
  • Performs all required carton and dock audits
  • Safety in a manufacturing or plant setting
  • Performs responsibilities in compliance with ISO-14001 policies, quality standards and procedures and OSHA regulations.
