About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible training, developing, and supporting the success of all Logistics associates. The Logistics Coordinator ensures the quality and correctness of the inventory and the quality, completeness and correctness of all orders filled, all orders received, and all cycle counts completed. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for training of associates to accurately and efficiently pick, pack, check and load customer orders accurately and efficiently; receive and put away inbound orders; and accurately and efficiently conduct cycle counts in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience in distribution/logistics management
Supervising associates in a WMS/RF Scanning environment is required
Previous supervisory/team lead experience
Ability to use computer systems and apply computer systems knowledge to manage day to day operations
Bachelor's Degree
Effective listening and concise communication skills at all levels of the organization - written and verbal.
Ability to understand and develop business strategy and convert to tactical application.

Lumber experience and experience managing a unionized workforce preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, train and motivate hourly warehouse and delivery employees under your direction
Administer corrective action when appropriate

Ensure adherence to all relevant DOT and OSHA regulations, including maintaining appropriate documentation
