About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring on-time, accurate, and cost-effective movement of materials from Mattr’s Flexpipe operations. This position is responsible for executing daily logistics activities, maintaining shipping schedules, coordinating with carriers and internal teams, and ensuring system and documentation accuracy. Success in this role directly supports customer delivery commitments, supply chain reliability, and continuous improvement across operations. Compensation: $20.77/hr-$25.96/hr

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 1 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience required.
  • Experience using ERP systems and strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily logistics activities for assigned plants, ensuring shipments are scheduled, confirmed, and completed accurately in the system.
  • Maintain weekly shipping schedules and coordinate transportation pickups with contracted carriers.
  • Manage contracted carrier relationships to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation modes and routing.
  • Verify packing slips and carrier waybills for accuracy and process receipt and shipment transactions within the IFS ERP system.
  • Coordinate closely with Planning, Project Coordinators, Shipping, Operations, and Sales to ensure complete orders are shipped on time.
  • Confirm shipment readiness with contractors prior to pickup and manage all required logistics documentation.
  • Support logistics process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at the plant level.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, actively supporting a safe workplace for all employees.
