The Logistics Coordinator oversees daily supply chain activities to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of goods and materials. This role supports internal teams and external partners through strong communication, precise documentation, and effective use of office and logistics systems. Requirements

  • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills, including filing, scanning, and document control.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • General computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective customer service and communication skills for working with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
  • Ability to handle front desk, receptionist, or secretarial tasks when required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in administrative support within logistics, supply chain, or a similar office environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and communication.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials to customers and internal locations.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve delivery, shipment, or scheduling issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and all logistics activities.
  • Perform data entry and document control to keep logistics information current and organized.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and managing documentation related to logistics.
  • Handle front desk, receptionist, or clerical tasks as needed to support daily operations.
  • Deliver professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and logistics standards.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, to manage communications, schedules, and reports.
