The division develops and produces mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and offers precious metals trading, recycling and related products and services. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating uniquely tailored blends to meet the diverse requirements of Refining Catalysts' global customers. You will collaborate closely with the Quality Department across various sites and Product Management to address specific needs. Additionally, you will engage daily with the Logistics Supervisor, Production Planner, and Supply Chain Clerk to maintain and coordinate schedules, ensuring that the Operations Team has the necessary information and documentation.During your day shift as a Logistics Coordinator, you will Issue daily work instructions detailing blending and shipping plans and provide off-shift guidance for supervisors and operators. Monitor inventories of all component materials to maintain adequate levels for blending activities, ensuring SAP reflects the physical inventory Lead and coordinate blending activities at both strategic and tactical levels. Strategically, ensure that Product Management’s requirements for blend compositions and each customer are met. Tactically, ensure that preliminary blends are completed in a timely manner to schedule shipping equipment. Ensure that blend compositions account for quality variances, component availability issues, and logistical requirements within the shipping schedule. Optimize component location by issuing rail switch instructions as needed.
