Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in logistics and customer service.
- Availability for on-call shifts
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to lift 0-50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dispatch systems or dispatch management.
- Previous experience with independent contractors.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign drivers to delivery routes.
- Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a pool of independent contractor drivers and recruit new contractors as needed.
- Manage billing and driver settlements daily using eCourier software.
- Prepare and submit reports for clients and management.
- Attend weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Conduct meetings with independent contractors to address performance or concerns.
- Cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations.
- Be available for non-traditional hours, including on-call or weekends.
- Some travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
