About The Position

A highly reputable company is looking for a Dispatcher to join their team! This role includes a large range of duties including but not limited to managing the loading and unloading of trucks efficiently, ensuring compliance with corporate, customer, and governmental requirements, meticulous attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures, while exercising good judgment in instructing scale customers, interacting professionally with truck drivers, dispatchers, and customers, and much more!

Requirements

Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
At least 1 year of experience in a related field
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Accounting

Responsibilities

Dispatch trucks, issuing drivers the necessary placards, seals, labels, material safety data sheets, bills of lading, and other paperwork to comply with DOT hazardous material regulations and security/loading/unloading procedures.
Communicate effectively with operations and administrative personnel to expedite product movements.
Maintain professional communication with product analysis and specifications labs.
Sort and file records neatly and accurately, including customer orders, correspondence, and permits.
Check and proofread customer orders and computer-generated reports.
Write, type, and enter information into various computer databases to prepare loading instructions for drivers, bills of lading, and other documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
