About The Position

Logistics Coordinator / Router Location: Brewster, NY Pay: $19 – 20 /hour Shift: Monday – Friday // 10:00AM – 6:30 PM What You'll Do Plan & Optimize Routes: Use routing software to plan and adjust daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and account for traffic/weather. Dispatch & Monitor Drivers: Assign routes, provide instructions, and continuously monitor driver progress to ensure on-time deliveries. Resolve Issues: Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, quickly resolving issues and providing necessary guidance throughout the day. Manage Communication: Handle professional and prompt communication with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or schedule changes. Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure all routing and dispatching activities comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. What We're Looking For Experience Preferred: Previous experience in routing, dispatching, or a related logistics role. Technical Skills: Familiarity with routing software and GPS technology; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Key Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional logistics education is a plus). Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards is preferred. Requirements

Previous experience in routing, dispatching, or a related logistics role.
Familiarity with routing software and GPS technology; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
