What this looks like: 1st Shift starting pay: $27.20/hour 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 11:30 am Job Description The primary responsibility of this role is to safely create, update, and maintain factory processes to achieve People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost goals for the Sanford, NC Compact Track Loader facility. To accomplish this goal, the successful candidate will identify, scope, & execute projects related to process improvements. The successful candidate will have the ability to learn & utilize lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, 5-Why’s, and Cause/Effect diagrams (Fishbone). The successful candidate will have the ability to learn and utilize Software/Systems including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, Power BI, Geneo, Glovia, and ATRS. This individual will utilize NextGen to create Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Schedules to support small & medium sized improvement projects. Within 6-9 months the selected candidate is expected to become skilled in a variety of applications and lean tools mentioned above. Therefore, the selected candidate should demonstrate an eagerness to learn and advance their skill set. The selected candidate should also feel comfortable communicating questions, both verbally and through written means. The successful candidate must also display the maturity to work independently. This posting is for the Mobile Fleet Logistics Planner. This role ensures that vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials are efficiently deployed, tracked, maintained, and returned to support field teams and operational readiness. Including but not limited to Forklifts, Tuggers, Radios, Scanners & Printers. The successful candidate works closely with fleet management, external fleet suppliers, field technicians, and execution groups to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational downtime. As this team is actively transitioning to a new mobile equipment supplier there is a lot of room for new ideas and growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months in current role
  • At least 1 year of forklift experience
  • Interpersonal Communication Skills
